Jews against experiments on dogs

Dogs don’t belong in labs.

Right now, thousands of dogs, mostly beagles, are being used in laboratory testing across the United States. They live their entire lives confined to cages, enduring painful experiments in the name of science.

These dogs are chosen not because they’re scientifically necessary, but because they’re gentle and trusting- the very qualities that make them beloved companions in millions of homes.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Modern, humane alternatives, like organ-on-a-chip technology, computer modeling, and cell-based research, can replace outdated animal testing. Yet the use of dogs continues simply because the law still allows it.

The numbers are staggering

  • Over 40,000 dogs are used in experiments in the U.S. each year.
  • Most are beagles, bred specifically for testing.
  • Almost none ever see the outside world or experience a loving home.

We’re calling on Congress to act.

It’s time to end the use of dogs in laboratory testing and invest in humane, modern research methods.
Your voice can help make that happen.
